Our Mission

The world deserves to know how it is being influenced.

Lens exists because the platforms that deliver our information have no financial incentive to be transparent about how they shape it. We believe that informed autonomy — the ability to consume media with a clear understanding of its framing and origins — is a fundamental right. Lens is built to make that possible for anyone, regardless of their political background or media literacy.

We do not tell people what to think. We show them how they are being influenced — and let them decide what to do with that information.
