Our mission

The world deserves to know how it is being influenced. Lenstrum exists because the platforms that deliver our information have no financial incentive to be transparent about how they shape it.

We believe that informed autonomy — the ability to consume media with a clear understanding of its framing and origins — is something everyone deserves access to. Lenstrum is built to make that possible for anyone, regardless of their political background or media literacy.

We do not tell people what to think. We show them how they are being influenced — and let them decide what to do with that information.

Non-partisan by design

Lenstrum applies the same analytical criteria regardless of political lean. Left-leaning and right-leaning framing are flagged using identical signals. No perspective is treated as the default.

Transparent methodology

The dimensions Lenstrum analyses are published openly. You can read how bias is assessed, what AI detection measures, and what the confidence levels mean — no black box.

Awareness, not correction

Lenstrum is a tool for critical thinking, not a fact-checker. A well-sourced, accurate article can carry a lean. Lean is a framing signal, not a quality judgment.
